Review: Vatika Sweet Almond Conditioner

I have to admit I'm usually a lover and constant user of Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner, so when I was sent this Vatika Sweet Almond Moisturising Conditioner* I was a bit unsure on whether or not I would actually like it. I've been stuck in a bit of a rut constantly purchasing the same Gum Argan Oil shampoo and conditioner for a while now, with a few hair masks thrown in here and there but I'm always up for trying new products so I gave it a try...

First of all the packaging really nice, I love the mint green colour of the bottle with the picture of the products components illustrated on the front and back. The product comes in the typical non-drip squeeze type bottle, which I prefer to the bottles in which you can just pour out the conditioner after unscrewing the lid; obviously with this bottle you can just squeeze out the amount needed so that less of the product is wasted, and it lasts a lot longer.

The actual conditioner is quite runny (it reminds me of a the texture of smooth yoghurt, maybe because thats a component of the product!), and doesn't lather much which is a positive in my opinon as I always somehow manage to get the soap in my eyes/mouth. Its scent is absolutely gorgeous - almond, honey and yoghurt which seem like the perfect combination for a beautifully blended natural product. Its very rare that I can actually still smell the scent of the conditioner after drying my hair but with this product I can, so thats definitely a plus.

My hair has been really dry recently with the hot weather, so a product which helps with dryness is definitely needed. I found that this did a great job at rehydrating my hair, revitalising the overall dryness, and making it look shiny again (yay!). This product also states that the honey within it smooths coarse frizzy hair; now my hair is one tough little cookie when it comes to being tackled by anti-frizzing products. Products very rarely stop it from frizzing up, and sadly this one didn't really help with it very much.

Overall I'd say this product is ideal for those who want to get rid of dry hair, and for those who have only slightly frizzy hair. I'd say that if your hair is kind of on the super frizzy side like mine is, then it might not be as useful. It smells absolutely gorgeous, its completely natural, and its pretty cheap at only £3.99.

Have you tried out this product? What did you think of it?

Thanks for reading!
