VIVA ITALIA: ROME

Well this is my first non-scheduled post in quite a while. I have just been so tired from work and busy trying to fit in time to see Andy and my friends that I have neglected my blog for a couple of weeks..shame on me I know! But I've decided to do a series of posts on my recent holiday and the destinations I went to, and the first stop was the absolutely beautiful city of Rome!

The city had such beautiful architecture, I've always been really interested in the history of Rome so was just captivated by everything I saw. As we went around the majority of the city on coach some of my pictures aren't as great as I had hoped, however I was still able to visit the amazing Colosseum and St Peters square which were so beautiful! Sadly the Trevi fountain is being refurbished and wasn't on display for the public which I was a tad devastated about, but I guess it just means that I will have to visit the city again in the future (yay)!

Hopefully a couple more posts will be up soon about my recent travels!

Thanks for reading!
