Maybelline Dream Flawless Nude Foundation

I recently picked up the Maybelline Dream Flawless Nude Foundation in the palest shade Ivory for £8.99 in Tesco after seeing a couple of other bloggers raving about how good it was, so as you can imagine I obviously had to head out to pick one up for myself. I'm not a massive lover of foundation, infact I never use it unless i'm heading out somewhere special as I feel as though a lot of the foundations I have tried in the past just make my face look horrendously cakey and I guess I just feel as though my skin just doesn't look right with it on.

I was quite surprised at how small the product actually seems at 20ml, it fits perfectly within the palm of my hand don't get me wrong its a great size for any makeup bag, but y'know when you just expect a chunkier bottle for a foundation like Rimmel's Wake Me Up bottle (yeah thats a 30ml product but you get what I mean right?!). I have to admit i'm not really a big fan of the the teardrop applicator. I've never had a product with this type of applicator before so I was a bit confused at first as its just a small plastic point which doesn't collect that much of the product, plus it takes forever to actually drip off the point so I ended up just smearing the stick across my face for quickness. Nevertheless, I absolutely love this foundation. It is x12 finer than the dream satin liquid which means when applied to the skin it blends in so well that it feels like nothing has actually been applied, but covers up all those pesky blemishes quite well and gives a great natural make up look, so you guessed it no caked-on-effect. Yes I would prefer a pump applicator but honestly this foundation is that good I will even put up with the tear drop applicator for it, who knows we might even become friends.

Maybelline Dream Flawless Nude Foundation is available in 7 different shades, and is priced at £8.99  (however it is on offer in Boots for just £5.99 at the moment!) which is an absolute bargain for such a great product. I would 100%  recommend giving this product a try as its my new favourite drugstore foundation, and i'm sure it could be yours too if you're looking for a low-medium coverage product.

Thanks for reading!
