Revlon Rose Glow Highlighter Palette

I recently picked up this Revlon Rose Glow Highlighter Palette from Boots for £8.99 after seeing it featured in one of Tanya Burr's videos. I have never owned a highlighter palette before as I usually just apply blush and leave it at that, however I thought i'd push the boat out a bit and pick up a couple of Revlon products as they looked great on Tanya's skin.

First of all, I absolutely love the packaging as its really small and compact so easy to throw in your handbag for outings, and it has a little plastic window on the lid so you can see the beautiful feminine shades within the palette. This product can be used as a highlighter, blush and an eyeshadow which is pretty handy for just £8.99. The shades are blendable so they can be swirled together or used individually, I tend to swirl them together which gives an amazing sunkissed look to my otherwise pale complexion; and they are also buildable, so well suited to a variety of skin tones which is refreshing as I am not often impressed with many blush shades (they're either too dark or too pinky!) The only 'issue' I did have with this palette is that it is quite sparkly, I guess this is a great addition for an eyeshadow but for me its a little too much for the blush/highlighter as I feel like I should be in twilight when I wear it.

Overall I think this palette is an amazing product. I mean, even though I look like Alice Cullen when I have it on, I still want to wear it as it gives such a great finish to my makeup look. Revlon have two highlighting palettes available which are Rose Glow and Bronze Glow, but I do think the Rose Glow has the nicer shades in.
Go pick one up, you know you want to!

Have you tried out a Revlon Highlighter Palette?

  2. I've been so crazy about highlighters lately! My favorite right now is Mary Lou-Manizer from thebalm, but I'll have to give this one a try, since it's more affordable! I'm a new follower on bloglovin btw :)
