Zoella Fizz Bar

I'm going to start of by saying i'm a huge fan of both the packaging and the scent of the Zoella products, it's just super pretty and the perfect fragrance. However, the products are a bit hit and miss for me as Soak Opera is one of my favourite shower gel/bubble bath products, but the fragrance mist was nothing but trouble as the spritzer constantly breaking so that I couldn't use the product (I got it replaced twice and had the same problem each time, so I gave up in the end!). So after months of it being released I finally decided to try out the Fizz Bar, I had heard some mixed reviews on the product (mostly negative tbh!) but wanted to give it a try regardless.

My first thoughts about the Fizz Bar were how hard the product was to actually break up, I literally had a sweat on after trying and snap the pieces up for 10 minutes, not really what I want from a product tbh.  After finally breaking it up I used the recommended two pieces in my bath, its safe to say I was a little disappointed as the product 'fizzed' for about 3 seconds and did absolutely nothing to my bath water. So for my next bath I decided to push the boat out a little and try four pieces, it did fizz slightly longer but again did nothing to my bath water. Don't get me wrong, the product smells gorgeous whilst in the packet, but the scent just seems to disappear once the pieces are placed into the water.

Overall I was pretty disappointed in this product, and would much rather spend the £5 on Soak Opera which smells amazing, and lasts much longer. I have a sneaky feeling that the fizz bar from her new tutti fruity range will be the same as this one so be wary before spending those pennies!

Have you tried the Fizz Barr?

  1. Thank you for giving such an honest review rather than thinking that everything Zoe does is amazing. I felt exactly the same way after using the fizz bar!

    Great post

    1. Thankyou :)
I've read some good reviews on it and just don't see why tbh! I was so disappointed by it, so i'll be sticking to my lush bath bombs instead ;)

    1. Thanks :)
The new range is out now, i've had a little smell of some of the products but haven't picked any up. The body scrub looks great but i'm not sure whether it will be worth £7!

  3. The Fizz bar is the only product I have tried from the range and I felt exactly the same! All it really did was turn my water a bit cloudy!

    1. Its so disappointing, and quite expensive for what it is! I don't think i'll be trying the fizz bar from her new range if its anything like this.

  4. I have tried everything from the new range (apart from the lip balm) and I love all of them, and think they work brilliantly. Except the fizz bar. Everything you said about the original is the same for the new one. Smells amazing, fizzes, smell goes, does nothing to the water. Rather disappointed tbh :(

  5. I was going to buy it but every time I went to Superdrug it was sold out! Maybe it's the universes way of telling me not to get it haha! Great honest review!

  6. Ahhh I was going to buy this the other day, but I picked up the one from the Tutti Frutti range instead. The chunks are bigger and smell really nice, but it didn't do anything either. I basically had to use a bubble bar from lush to spice it up a little. Luckily, I could smell it in the bath, but it'd be way better if she made them colourful or something!
