The Body Shop Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser

I picked up this Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser for £16 a couple of weeks back now after a very persuasive member of staff at The Body Shop in Liverpool One told me how amazing it was.
I have to admit the packaging is pretty damn gorgeous, and very eye catching! The product itself has a very strong orange scent which is quite refreshing, but slightly overpowering. It has quite a thin gel like consistency which means that a small amount can go a long way, so I can see this product lasting quite a while. After I had applied the product I had what felt like a burning sensation on my skin which made me think I was having a reaction at first (which I gladly wasn't), so I assume that was just the 'glow boosting' element of the moisturiser going to work. My face felt really hydrated and moisturised after using the product, however have a terrible break out after using it which wasn't great.

Overall I'm not convinced by this product. I found that it didn't really give me that extra 'glow' that it had claimed, so I sadly won't be repurchasing it in the future.

Have you tried the Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser?

  3. That's a pity you found it quite disappointing. I love my Ole Henriksen Truth Serum. It sounds quite similar to this product, except, well it's a serum obviously! :) It makes my skin all lovely and glowy.
